Meadows Symphony Orchestra
December 6
Meadows faculty members Emanuel Borok, violin, and Andrés Díaz, cello, will join the orchestra in a performance of Brahms’ warm and lyrical Double Concerto. The program will open with Dvorak’s delightful Amid Nature overture, and conclude with Igor Stravinsky’s monumental Rite of Spring, which scandalized audiences at its 1913 premiere, but is now considered one of the most influential works of the 20th century.
