A Carol for Tiny Tim
December 19
A Christmas Drama written by John R. Carroll; courtesy of Dramatic Publishing Company. Directed by Kay Huse.
This warm and wonderful play takes place 15 years after old Scrooge's miraculous transformation as he continues to honor Christmas in his heart. Jacob Marley has once again called the three Spirits of Christmas to reconvene. This time, however, it is the grownup Tiny Tim who needs their holiday help. Now a spoiled young man, he uses his past infirmity as his crutch to collect sympathy and money from family and friends. Jacob feels a visit by the spirits of Christmas Present, Past and Future is just what Tim needs to learn how to truly stand on his own two feet. Viewing his life, from humble beginnings to a frightening future, Tim comes to realize that he has become self-centered and vows to change his selfish ways in the same manner as Mr. Scrooge. Audiences can rest assured that Tim (no longer "Tiny" in any way) will learn his lesson and once again exclaim, "God bless us everyone!"
