SWEAT 2009 (Southwest Ergometer Amateur Tournament)

Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas will host the 2009 Southwest Ergometer Amateur Tournament (SWEAT) on Feb. 7. SWEAT is an official satellite regatta of the C.R.A.S.H. -- B Sprints World Indoor Rowing Championship and the last qualifying tournament in the area. Event sponsor Concept2 will send top qualifiers to the championship, which will be held in Boston Feb. 22. All SWEAT events are 2,000 meters with one pull allowed per competitor. The competition is open to the public, and anyone who is interested in fitness is encouraged to attend. Register online: $20 students; $25 adults through Feb. 4. General admission is $3 or $2 for 18 & under.
