Steel STRINGth Benefit

The second annual “Steel STRINGth Event,” a concert benefiting International Rescue Committee (IRC), will be held Sunday, February 15th. A $10 donation will be required at the door. All proceeds will benefit IRC.

Founded in 1933, the International Rescue Committee is a leading nonsectarian, voluntary organization providing relief, protection and resettlement services for refugees and victims of oppression or violent conflict. IRC is committed to freedom, human dignity and self-reliance.

IRC Dallas assists an average of five hundred refugees per year by securing safe and affordable housing, assisting in English language training, providing access to health care and helping them with job placement so that they can become self-sufficient and fully participate in their new communities.
