Healy will play solo pieces by 19th century Italian guitar virtuoso Mauro Giuliani, contemporary composers Francesco Taranto of Rome and Eduardo Garrido of Spain, mixed with his own solo compositions. The concert also features Healy's On War for guitar and voice with Kathryn Evans, associate dean for the arts. Guitar trios with UT Dallas graduate students Jimmy Wilder and Charlie Watson will complete the program.
