  1. Due to popular demand, the Denton Public Library is offering classes this spring for adults who never learned to knit or who learned long ago and have forgotten how to do the basic stitches. A series of Adult Basic Knitting classes will be held at the Emily Fowler Central Library from on three Thursdays in February (February 5, 12, and 19).
During the course of the three classes, library staff and volunteers will demonstrate basic stitches and how to read patterns. Attendees can select project patterns from among a scarf, a hat, and a shawl. Yarns and needles will be provided for practice, but feel free to bring supplies from your own ?stash? if you have one. The program is free, but space is limited, so please call to register. To register, or for more information, please call 940-349-8753.
