Japanese Tea Ceremony, a Children’s Workshop

Children and their adult partners will explore the Museum’s remarkable collection of Asian art, which spans a period of nearly two thousand years. This workshop features an introduction to the ancient art of the Japanese tea ceremony and the opportunity for children to create hand-held ceramics and ink paintings.
Designed for children ages 6 to 14, Children’s Workshops combine interactive gallery discussions and hands-on activities for children and their parents. The materials fee for the workshop is $15 ($12 for Museum members); there is no charge for parents. Maximum of three children per adult. To register, call 817-332-8451, ext. 297.
