Emma Watson (Hermione in the Harry Potter series) stars as Pauline in this charming, very British adaptation of the beloved Noel Steatfield book. Pauline, Petrova, and Posy are three orphans rescued by their eccentric Great Uncle Matthew and brought up together as the Fossil Sisters in 1930s London. Each of the girls has her own dreams – Pauline wants to act, Petrova yearns to be a pilot, and Posy is meant to dance. Despite their modest circumstances, the three orphans make a promise, “We three Fossils vow to put our name in the history books.” With the help of a colorful array of eccentric friends, they set out to do just that.
