I shed a tear at Ground Zero in the early days, while reading all the fence-tied memorabilia. I do not believe outside forces could have pulled off this caper without internal assistance. Something smells like rotten fish, and in that part of downtown, it could not have been the cooking. Manhattan is rife with history and power and intrigue, the likes of which I hope to never grok. The gut rarely misses.

Even if you apprehend and accept the MSM outlook on this tragic event, you should at least take a moment or two to examine the "data" provided in these documentaries, and come to your own critically derived conclusions. Too many questions, not enough tortillas

Science, anyone?

So, high levels of thermite were found in the ash - considering what thermite IS, that is not surprising to find when large sections of an aluminum plane basically vaporise in a steel (main ingredient: iron) building. As far as being a major contributing factor before or to the explosions, thermite can be unpredictable to start, is much more an incendiary than an explosive, and would not be the 'explosive' of choice for anyone needing precision timing.

rhia, I am an Environmental Scientist and I must apologize for our educational system, because you have your science and facts wrong. This was nanothermite found in the dust. It is a very high-tech, very explosive composite which can ONLY be manufactured by extremely advanced laboratory methods. UNEXPLODED fragments of this stuff was discovered in ALL the dust samples studied. On top of this discovery, the residues from thermitic compounds were found in all the dust samples and also discovered from the rubble / steel itself. There is also evidence concerning the EPA air samples which point to this nanocomposite.

Sorry, was keeping the explanation at the level of the 'science' used for proof. Even nanothermite would not be the substance of choice for what the theorists claim. Choice between arguing online over ultrasonification and/or "the government's" access to much more effective explosives or shrugging and accepting the futility of the first choice: I'm taking the second option.

It's well documented around here that I am not a practicing scientist, but even an unemployed skateboarder like myself knows that publications like "The Journal of 911 Studies" or "The Open Journal of Whatever" could hardly be considered 'mainstream peer reviewed.'

I suppose not getting published in Nature is probably part of the conspiracy, too.

DC, Actually, if you look, you will find these papers published in mainstream journals. "The Environmentalist", "The Open Civil Engineering Journal", "The Open Chemical Physics Journal", "The Journal of Engineering Mechanics" are a few examples. These are not shoddy journals by any means. The peer-review process for having a study published can be gruelling. Standards are extremely high and explicitly scientific.

There is a benefit for the public with these journals in that some articles can be publicly accessed. Many times this is not the case on a scientific study. Some journals can only be accessed by subscription (libraries of Universities sometimes pay tens of thousands of dollars for certain journal subscriptions). [Elsevier is one company buying up many journals and raising the price for access to institutions.] Links to the mainstream journals are in my previous post.

Here's what your 'Journal of 911' studies has to say for itself:

"We will continue for the time being to provide a service for researchers who wish to present a new finding or a new point of view but who feel that their contribution would not be suitable for a mainstream journal. We will also be happy to receive sound, substantial work which has nevertheless been rejected by others." Doesn't sound too grueling to me.

Please put the name of what you consider a mainstream journal that has published your theories in your next post.

So far you have some old dude who no one's willing to fund publishing some hoo-ha on the internetz or some journal not even indexed on ISI, big deal.

"The Open Chemical Physics Journal" is owned by Bentham. Bentham is a major publisher of Scientific, Technical, and Medical (STM) Journals. Bentham is a very, very prestigious journal publisher. Some of their journals are available to the public free of charge, some require the public to pay to read the journal. "Open" means that you do not have to pay. The scientists who published the recent nanothermite discoveries intentionally published in an "open" journal so that the information could easily be made available to anyone without having to pay to read it.

OMG

Actually this weekend I was putting some new trucks on a board I just picked up and I dropped a screw through my deck in the back yard! Despite my best efforts I couldn't get it so now I've got to order new hardware on line since as far as I can tell this town still doesn't have a decent skate shop downtown. Too bad, too, I was wanting to work on some kickflips this week.

A fantastic film being shown at this July 11th EVENT is "AMERICA: FROM FREEDOM TO FASCISM" by Aaron Russo, famous filmmaker (Trading Places or Bette Midler's "The Rose"). This film literally rallied millions to expose The Federal Reserve...and in fact, there are currently a huge number of congressmen signed on to a bill to audit The Fed.
