Dustin Diamond
July 11
, 2009
Dustin Neil Diamond was named after singer Neil Diamond who he is related to on his father's side (he is not, however, related to Mike D of the Beastie Boys). He was born in San Jose, California, but he graduated from Zion High School in Anaheim. Diamond has kept busy after the popular teenager sitcom, Saved By The Bell, was cancelled. He has been featured on many shows, and he also participated in a celebrity boxing contest that was televised, as well as in professional wrestling matches, and on The Weakest Link. Diamond is currently a stand-up comedian and bass player in the band "Salty the Pocketknife." He has plans to write a book about his experiences growing up a child actor.
