Description
What are the benefits of pet ownership? How can I groom my long haired dachshund? What is important to remember about children and pets? How can I prevent dog bites? You'll find the answers to those questions and others at Petzapalooza, from 9:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 11 at the Central Library, 1515 Young St., first and second floors. The event is free and open to the public.
This year's annual celebration will feature a wide variety of children's and adult programs, including presentations on spaying/neutering, the benefits of pet ownership, grooming your long hair dachshund, child safety and pets, story times and craft related programs, and veterinarian discussions on the general health of your pet, including information about heatstroke.
