Description
Based on Charles Dickens’ Oliver Twist, this musical is the story of little Oliver, an orphan, who escapes his miserable existence to find companionship and hardship in 1860 London. He meets everyone from an impish, friendly boy named the Artful Dodger to Dodger’s mentor, the thief-con man Fagin. They befriend Oliver and others like him so that he can learn to be a pickpocket and help support them all. The show is filled with rollicking songs, such as “As Long as He Needs Me,” “Consider Yourself,” and “Fine Life.”
