Four Course Beer Dinner

A beer dinner that will feature 12 of the world’s finest brews. Guests will also indulge in a four-course gourmet dinner prepared by Chef James Johnson and his culinary team. Featured menu items and beer pairings include the following:
First Course: Assorted Greens Salad with apples, oranges, blue cheese and crispy pancetta drizzled with a roasted shallot vinaigrette. Paired with Spaten, Light Lager, Munich, Germany; Ephemere, Ale with Fruit, Quebec, Canada; Ommegang Hennepin, Belgian Saison Farmhouse Ale, Cooperstown, New York.
Second Course: Beer Battered Sole with tomatoes, artichokes, mushrooms and lemon brown butter. Paired with St. Arnold Lawnmower, German style Kolsch, Houston; Lindeman’s Cuvee Rene, Lambic Gueze, Senne River Valley, Belgium; Dogfish Head 60 min IPA, Indian Pale Ale (IPA), Milton, Delaware.
Third Course: Braised Short Ribs of Beef with cheddar cheese grits and roasted vegetables. Paired with Triple Karmeliet, Triple Ale, Buggenhout, Belgium; Malheur Dark Brut, Strong Dark Ale, Buggenhout, Belgium; Samuel Smith’s Oatmeal Stout, Stout, Yorkshire, Great Britain.
Fourth Course: Vanilla Bread Pudding, Chocolate Stout Ice Cream and Framboise Chocolate Cake. Paired with Breckenridge Vanilla Porter, Porter, Denver/Breckenridge, Colorado; Young’s Double Chocolate Stout, Stout, Bedford, Great Britain; Lindeman’s Framboise, Raspberry Lambic, Senne River Valley, Belgium.
