Zoo Careers Camp
June 18
Campers entering ninth through 12th grade investigate animals and careers at the Fort Worth Zoo. The five-day resident camp is a unique opportunity for high school students to experience many occupations in a world-class Zoo. Campers learn about animal care, maintenance, training and habitat construction, accompany animal staff on daily schedules, participate in animal care activities and attend presentations by Zoo staff. This camp is designed to increase knowledge and skills about wildlife conservation, environmental and economic issues, initiatives, challenges and success stories.
