The African American Festival concert will be on Friday, June 19th, 2009, featuring conductor Vince Danner with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, with a presentation of Copland's Lincoln Portrait. Special performance by renown violinist Regina Carter to follow.
Art show and music by Strings of Color in the lobby preceding the concert.
Performance starts promptly at 7:30pm. Late seating will take place during a pause in the program.
