Beginner/Elementary Piano Camp
June 20
, 2009
Register early to reserve one of only 12 openings. This 5-day piano camp is taught by Carolyn Sheets, Eastfield Continuing Education piano instructor and director/sponsor of classical, jazz and Baroque piano festivals in Dallas. Here’s an opportunity for non-piano students to join the beginner and elementary students in a fun-filled environment to learn piano fundamentals of sight reading, music theory, and performance. Students will work in a group of 12 or fewer students. Also included with this registration is entrance to all of the Piano Festival afternoon master classes, Saturday children’s recital at 11am, and Saturday professional concert performance by Rick Andrews at 2pm. Parent, please attend the first 15 minutes of the first class. Children will be supervised at all times, and extended care can be arranged as needed after the class to accommodate working parents.
Prerequisites: Ages 7-18 with minimum 6 months piano lessons.
