The Museum of the American Railroad is holding its 7th annual Kids Train Festival on Saturday, June 20th from 11:00am until 4:00pm. Tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for children. Advance ticket purchase is not necessary. Tickets may be purchased at the museum.
Balloons, prizes, tours of our historic rail collection, music from our vintage steam calliope and live steam whistle demonstrations are just part of the activities you will enjoy this year. Whether you’ve attended previously or if this is your first visit to the museum, you will thoroughly enjoy the days’ activities.
Kids Train Fest will feature a Lionel model train layout for kids of all ages to enjoy! The Lonestar High Railers model railroad club, the sponsor of the layout, will also be raffling off a Lionel train set! Registration is free with paid admission. (Limit one registration per person).
