Jihad Jones and the Kalashnikov Babes
Part of the 11th annual New Works Festival
June 21, 2009
Ashraf, an Arab-American actor, finally lands a role in a Hollywood blockbuster. The hitch: it's as the most stereotypically evil, fanatical Islamic terrorist ever. KDT Co-Artistic Director Tina Parker directs the hilarious National New Play Network World Premiere (NNPN) headliner of Kitchen Dog's eleventh annual New Works Festival.
Ticket prices range from $30 for all opening night tickets, $15 - $25 for adults and $10 - $20 for MAC, STAGE, KERA, DART, ARTSCARD, TCG members, students and senior citizens/65+(all with proper ID). Special group rates are also available.
"Talk-Backs" with the actors and director follow the Sunday matinee performances. Pay-What-You-Can specials (available to the first 25 patrons) are on Wednesdays (June 10 and 24) and Thursdays (June 11, 18 and 25).
