Basic Kiln Casting and Coldworking Workshop with Becky Johnson

This workshop will introduce students to kiln casting by building a basic open faced mold using refractory material. Each student will receive a 10 x10 glass sheet, a 3 1/2 lb billet, plus 3 lbs cullet. In addition, students will learn basic coldworking skills using equipment such as a belt sander, lap grinder, tile saw, hand grinders and more. Class is limited to eight students. No previous glass experience required, but helpful.

$275 Members ($305 Non-Members).
