Wimberly is the only duck who hatches from a nest of eggs. Never having seen a duck, he believes himself to be a person, and loves the Davis family, who cares for him. When he gets to be a nuisance, Mrs. Davis takes him to a farm to live. But Wimberly is homesick. Can he adapt to life on the farm, or will his family take him back? (Based on a true story)
