Women and Philanthropy

Kim Peters, President and Founder of The Prom Shop Project, will speak on the topic of “Women and Philanthropy” at the Democratic Women of Denton County’s inaugural event on Sunday, June 28, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Lewisville Municipal Annex Community Room, 1197 W Main Street in Lewisville.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their gently worn prom dresses, bridesmaid dresses, shoes and accessories to donate to the Prom Shop Project. Tax receipts will be available. Volunteers will collect, clean and provide formal dresses to students who are unable to afford them.
