God, why does Fort Worth get all the metal bands.

Alex Bentley, says:
Pavel, if you click on <a href="http://www.pegasusnews.com/events/search/?category=143">"Metal"</a> underneath Categories, you'll see plenty of metal shows in the Dallas area coming up soon (unless you wanted to see one of these particular bands, in which case you're out of luck).

Pavel Lishin, says:
Yeah, and I use that time to time, but it just seems like Fort Worth seems to have a lot more shows in general; any time I click on a featured metal show in the Pegasus Picks section, it's always in FW. In fact, metal bands known the world (aside from Metallica and the like) over tend to tour through Fort Worth, since that's where the metal scene is more predominant. Or something. I dunno, I just need more metal in my face.

Teresa Gubbins, says:
BREAKING -- from the Absu publicist: ABSU’s scheduled Ft. Worth performance tonight has been canceled due to their tour bus breaking down earlier today outside Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The show, the final on the band’s current tour, was to feature Rumpelstiltskin Grinder and a “special guest.” The band has already confirmed with the promoter for tonight’s show that the performance will be rescheduled later this summer and anyone who purchased tickets will have them successfully redeemed for the rescheduled performance.

TLS, says:
You would think they could perform some mystical occult wizardry and get that tour bus fixed toot sweet.
Pavel: Metal bands perform at The Palladium and HOB quite often!

jtmbls, says:
What is the purpose then of summoning demons if they can't do simple things like make your tour bus run on just pure evil?

Pavel Lishin, says:
TLS: I know, I've noticed that, and I'm glad for it, although I'm not a huge fan of HOB.
And yeah, even if not demons, you'd think they'd be able to gather up a posse of metalheads to pull them all the way to DFW.
It would make an impressive entrance.
