World Elk Calling Championship

The public is invited to bellow, bugle and bark with the world’s best. Held as part of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation’s 25th Annual Elk Camp & Hunting, Fishing and Outdoor Expo. Preliminary rounds of competition begin Fri., March 6, at 9:00 a.m. Finals begin Sat., March 7, at 9:00 a.m., followed by awards and crowning of 2009 world champions. Included with daily admission to the expo: $12 per person or $25 per family, and free for kids 5 and under.

- Malone's Pub: 10 am - 6 pm: $2.75 wells, $3.25 calls, $2.25 import bottles
- Stampede: 7 am - 7 pm: $2 longnecks, $2.75 mixed drinks, $0.50 draft beer
- 8.0 Restaurant and Bar: 5 pm - 7 pm: $2 wells, $3 blue things & drafts, $5 you call it martinis / 1/2 off appetizers
- Jake's Hamburgers: 4 pm - 7 pm: $2 domestic bottles, $2 schooners, $2 Cosmos, $2 Appletinis, $3 cocktails / 4 pm - 7 pm: $3 appetizers
- Crossroads Lounge: 11 am - 9 pm: $1 drafts, $2.50 longnecks, $2.75 wells
