BExchanged II
March 7
BExchanged II features UT Dallas dance students performing an original work by Lily Cai, director and choreographer of the Lily Cai Chinese Dance Company. This work is a product of a two-week residency at UT Dallas during which students will train in the styles and techniques of the Cai Company. In addition to the work by Ms. Cai, students will be performing choreography by UT Dallas faculty members Michele Hanlon and Micki Saba that fuses eastern influences with contemporary dance. Traditional Asian dance forms and styles will be featured in this performance.
