The Fort Worth-based Texas Boys Choir will present their annual Spring Concert with music from their upcoming recording and tour projects. Giovanni Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater is the featured major work. Composed for treble voices, the work is considered one of Pergolesi’s finest. Other highlights of the concert include lively performances by the Resident Training Choir and the Young Men’s Ensemble. The program concludes with the entire Tour Choir performing a potpourri of such well-liked folk, popular and patriotic tunes as I’m a Train, Red River Valley, Home on the Range, The Yellow Rose of Texas, Grandfather’s Clock, Short People, and This Is My Country.
