The quarterly gathering is planned as an opportunity for Dallas South readers to experience more of Dallas by visiting venues they may not otherwise have ventured out to.
The first “Get Into the City” will be held at Texas Caribbean Foods at the South Side on Lamar and feature the work of local artist John Spriggins.

- Fuse Restaurant and Lounge: 4 pm - 7 pm: $3 domestics, $3 frozen drinks, $3 white wine, $3 red wine, $1 sake / $1 sushi
- Five-Sixty: 5 pm - 7 pm: Five varying drink options for $5.60 each / 5 pm - 7 pm: Five tapas-sized plates for $5.60 each
- Tuk Tuk Asian Cuisine: 5 pm - 7 pm: $3 beer, $3.50 wine
- Campisi's: 4 pm - 7 pm: $2.50 domestics, $3.25 imports, $2.50 wine, $3 margaritas & wells
- Ten Sports Grill: 11 am- 7 pm: $2.50 wells, domestics, and frozen margaritas and $1 off premium draft beer ~ 7pm-2am $3 domestic light beer / 2 for $10 superbowls
