Select Committee on Federal Economic Stabilization Funding Public Hearing
March 14
Since its inception last month, the Select Committee’s focus has been on fact-finding and clarifying the evolving plans for the stimulus funds’ use in Texas, as well as ensuring a high level of transparency and accountability in the funds’ appropriation.
Following more than a dozen public hearings at the Capitol, the Metroplex hearing will be the first event of the Select Committee held outside of Austin. All members of the public are welcome to attend and offer testimony on the use of American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funds in Texas. The committee will also be hearing invited testimony from various elected officials and experts from the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
