Dallas Wind Symphony - Marches in March

Melinda Wilson, flute

Bands love to play marches, and audiences love to hear 'em. Here's a rare treat for anybody who's crazy about a marching song. The band will play foot-lifters from march masters like John Williams, Kenneth Alford, Karl King, and of course the immortal John Philip Sousa.

Fanfare: Action Fanfare — Brian Sadler (Mesa, AZ)
Gaetano Donizetti — March for the Sultan Abdul Medjid
Johannes Hanssen — Valdres
Lowell Liebermann — Concerto for Flute
Kenneth Alford — Army of the Nile
David Lovrien — The Midwesterner (Southwest Premiere)
Scott Joplin — Combination March
John Williams — March from 1941
Pascual Marquina — Cielo Andaluz
Karl King — Barnum and Bailey's Favorite
John Philip Sousa — Semper Fidelis
