A lecture/demonstration by Richard Emmert, Artistic Director of Theatre Nohgaku in Tokyo, introducing the history, movement, chant, musical instruments, and masks of Japanese classical noh theater. This program launches a three-week residency of three noh artists at SMU Meadows School of the Arts.
