From origami and calligraphy, to quilt making and Japanese theater, arts and crafts hold an important place in Japanese culture. Stop by the Crow Collection at any time between 10 and 1:30 pm to explore different forms of expression in Japanese culture. FREE. No reservations required.

10 AM: Introduction to quilting

11 AM: Pre-lunch discussion on Theater Nohgaku sponsored by SMU, the Barnes Fund, and Japan America Society of Dallas/Fort Worth

12 PM: Lunchtime calligraphy class

1 PM: Midday tour of the special exhibitions Stitching the Seasons: Contemporary Japanese Quilts and Untamed Beauty: Tigers in Japanese Art
