Presented by the Division of Art at SMU Meadows School of the Arts, the Visiting Artist Lecture Series provides students with access to eminent artists and critics and promotes a broader cultural dialogue with the contemporary art community. This spring, the Visiting Artist Series brings internationally recognized and artistically diverse artists to Meadows to discuss their work and process for creating art that provokes, inspires and ultimately challenges perceptions. In Spring 2002, Bordowitz had a solo museum show at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago. His book, titled The AIDS Crisis Is Ridiculous and Other Writings 1986-2003, was published by MIT Press in the fall of 2004.
