Westlake Historical Preservation Society’s Annual “Decoration Day”

The event pays tribute to our veterans and features the traditional ice cream making contest, a bicycle decorating contest for children, music, hot dogs and more.

From 5:30-6:30 p.m. there will be a children’s bicycle decorating contest and parade, ice cream contest and ice cream sampling, and live western music. The official program will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will include cowboy poetry, singing, and recognizing and honoring our veterans with activities continuing into the evening until sunset.
