Dog Days of Denton
May 30, 2009
Pooches and their people will find the traditional “Glamfur" shots of your furry friend, paw readings by the Great Barkini, dogs on parade, canine contests, live entertainment, demonstrations, arts/crafts booths, pet information and adoptions, festival foods and more.
Best and formerly known as the Dog Days of Summer, the Dog Days of Denton Celebration is in its 16th year and the event will be held in the north end of Quakertown Park near the Denton Senior Center and swimming pool at 321 E. McKinney, just a few blocks northeast of the Denton County Courthouse-on-the-Square. Cooler evening hours, more grass, trees, and space to roam (on a leash of course) are in store this year.
