Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra: All Tchaikovsky
November 1
, 2009
Shakespeare has inspired many compositions, but none surpass the popularity of Tchaikovsky's Romeo and Juliet fantasy overture, with its crushing fight music and passionate love themes. Our tribute comes to a close with the heartfelt power of Tchaikovsky's last work, the beloved Symphony No. 6, "Pathetique."
