Faculty at Five: Three of a Mind
November 4
Join UTD in the Jonsson Performance Hall at 5 p.m. for a free, informal presentation series featuring UT Dallas Arts and Humanities faculty and special guests as they perform and discuss their craft.
Three of a Mind pairs two UT Dallas musicians, Kelly Durbin at the piano and Winston Stone on woodwinds, with John Adams on bass. Although primarily a jazz trio, all three enjoy performing any sort of good music and strive not to be overly genre specific. This concert will reflect that spirit and will include songs such as “Autumn Leaves,” “Sail Away,” “Sweet Georgia Brown,” “Groove Merchant,” “Black Orpheus” and the “Main Title” from Monk.
