Cause for Celebration: Family Night
November 4
, 2009
Mockingbird Station will partner with the Dallas Public Library’s Every Child Ready to Read program to host a free, fun, pre-screening early literacy mini-workshop at 6:30 p.m. An outdoor screening of The Wizard of Oz will follow at 7 p.m.
Admission for each family is the donation of at least one new or slightly used book, which will benefit the Every Child Ready to Read program. In addition, that evening from 5-9 p.m., Vapiano will offer “kids eat free” to all families who show their books that they’ll be donating to the program.
