November 7
, 2009
¡Protejase! Luche Contra el Fraude aims to educate Dallas’s Spanish-speaking community about various consumer fraud issues, including debt and credit repair scams and notario fraud among others. The Dallas Association of Young Lawyers will target a specific consumer fraud issue and will air it on various Spanish language television and radio stations. A website and booklet will enable Spanish-speaking consumers to identify and avoid common frauds and to locate legitimate resources for victims of consumer frauds.
A meeting will feature the unveiling of the public service campaign, light food, and entertainment.
