Reptile Fest
November 8
, 2009
Amphibians will hop into the mix for the first time at this year’s annual Reptile Fest at the Museum of Nature & Science. This two-day event explores the cool, cold-blooded world of snakes, lizards, turtles, frogs and other reptiles and amphibians presented by North Texas wildlife experts. Hands-on activities and seminars to educate museum guests will include what makes reptiles and amphibians different from other animals in nature; the social responsibility people have in keeping these animals as pets; and the environmental impacts people place on wildlife habitat.
