Harpsichord Concert

English musicologist, organist, scholar and writer Peter Williams, currently John Bird Professor at the University of Cardiff in Wales, presents a harpsichord concert as part of this weeklong residency at SMU Nov. 9-13. He will perform music from the early 18th century by Vivaldi, Handel, Bach and Couperin. He will also present several lectures during the week that are open to the public. Dr. Williams’ visit is sponsored by the Perkins School of Theology and Meadows School of the Arts at SMU and the Dallas chapter of the American Guild of Organists.
