Camp Fire USA First Texas Council’s 25th annual An Artists’ Christmas

The festive, cocktail-attire gala includes dinner, silent and live art auctions, and entertainment from a jazz ensemble and The 3Painters, a trio of artists who create masterpieces in minutes. More than 100 original works of art from local, regional and national artists, such as Ann Ekstrom, Natalie Erwin and Nancy Lamb, will be on view and available for purchase. The art can be seen at Ridglea November 10 through 13 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

Event chairs include: Alyson and Karl Hahnfeld (general chairs), Raymond Rains and Pamela Summers (art chairs), and Paula Kornye Tillman (Paint Out chair). In celebration of the event’s 25th anniversary, Camp Fire is acknowledging all previous general chairs and honor chairs, known as An Artists’ Christmas Honor Council. In 25 years, this group has collaborated with artists to raise more than 2.5 million dollars for Camp Fire USA First Texas Council’s programs, which serve approximately 20,000 children, youth and adults annually.

Camp Fire is also recognizing the artists’ contributions to An Artist Christmas by donating a portion of the 2009 event proceeds to the Emergency Artists Support League (EASL), a nonprofit organization which provides emergency medical funding for North Texas visual artists and art professionals.
