Fort Worth ISD Conference Focusing on the College-Bound Experience
November 14
, 2009
The Fort Worth Independent School District’s “I Dream…I Learn…I Win” Family Summit will target FWISD students and their families with the goal of increasing the graduation rate and establishing a “college-bound” culture among all its students.
This is the sixth district-sponsored event designed to focus on the college-bound experience and to support the role that the unstoppable family members play in the decision making process. “I Dream, I Learn, I Win” is a part of the Fort Worth ISD’s Project Prevail program which seeks to engage all the stakeholders in the community to bolster student engagement and school completion.
The Summit will provide breakfast and lunch free of charge.
There is also a critical need for volunteers to assist with this event. For more information, contact the Department of Student Engagement and School Completion at 817-871-2509.
