Lone Star Film Festival - Petition
November 15
, 2009
120 min. | aka: La Cour Des Plaignants | China, France
Petitioners come from across China to Beijing’s Complaints Office, where they hope to redress for injustices in their local communities. Forced to wait in shantytowns for an interminable time, and facing ‘Retrievers’ sent by their local authorities, these men and women still manage to stay steadfast in their goal for justice.
