Milestone Third Sunday Farmers Market

Visitors to the Milestone Farmers Market will have the opportunity to taste the difference in local, pasture-raised beef, pork, and chicken from two EatGreenDFW.com producers: Dominion Farms from Denison and JZJ Natural Beef from Troy.

Both producers will be offering samples of their products for tasting at the market, which runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

C.J. Singleton, the owner of Good Spice Specialty Foods will be doing the cooking for the tasting and will be offering samples of his seasonings to complement the meat and poultry.

Other foods available for tasting will be dessert chips and sweet salsa from Dread Head Chef; peppered jellies from Kap's Pepper Company; French/American pastries from Florine Bowman; and cookies from Stephanie's Premium Bakery.

Other market participants include herb and specialty produce grower Motley Farms, eco-friendly hat maker Millinerium; homemade pasta maker Lucido Pasta and Herbs; and candle and soap maker Abundantly Aromatic.
