November 22
, 2009
Music Director Miguel Harth-Bedoya's critically acclaimed Caminos del Inka project explores three centuries of music influenced by the culture and landscapes of the Incas. This exciting concert features the world premiere of Lago de Lagrimas by Jimmy Lopez, one of the most exciting new composers of his generation. The performance also offers a chance to hear Iturriaga's Homenaje a Stravinsky, featuring a rare solo for the cajon drum.
