Secrets of a Waterwise Gardener
October 3
If you want to cut back on your water bill without turning your yard into a desert, this class is for you! Join Dennis Luczycki, owner of Texas Xeriscapes & Texas Certified Landscape Professional, as he shares with you how to bring water conscious gardening techniques to your landscape. In addition to learning the seven basic principles of Waterwise Gardening, you will learn which plants to select and how to add color to your landscape with natives and still be water conscious. Come find out how simple changes can make your landscape more beautiful using fewer resources and less money!
$20 for members, $22 for non-members. Class fees include admission to the garden and parking. After class, participants are invited to stroll through the gardens and see spectacular floral displays featured throughout the year. Class sizes are limited, so advance registration is required. Reservations can be made online or by calling 214-515-6540. E-mail education@dallasarboretum.org with any questions. Check the Arboretum website for a full listing of the fall and winter classes.
