Dean Austin
October 9, 2009
Dean Austin is originally from Oakland, Ca. and now resides in Los Angeles. He has a rapid-fire comedy style, which leaves audiences on the floor. He has always said, "Without laughter...there’s no happiness". He has appeared on several TV shows and performs Colleges, Cruise Ships and Clubs all over. Dean started performing comedy in 1990 when a friend dared him to go on stage at a local comedy club in San Francisco. Since then he’s performed throughout the United States and overseas for the Troops in Japan, Germany, Korea and several other countries. He just returned from a tour in Iraq! Dean has been seen on BET “Comic View”, Showtime at the Apollo, Uptown Comedy Club, Latino Laugh Festival and has made several other TV appearances. Many of the patrons that go to the comedy club to see his performance leave with a whole new outlook on love, racism and how people should be treated. If comedy were bottled, the lable would read, “Dean Austin Antidote!!”
