Before its acquisition by the Kimbell, Michelangelo's Torment of Saint Anthony underwent conservation and technical studies at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, where it was featured as a summer focus exhibition. Curators and conservationists whose research helped confirm its authorship will make illustrated presentations and discuss Michelangelo's earliest painting.
