White Rock Lake Artists Studio Tour

In the fall of each year, a unique art event takes place in neighborhoods near White Rock Lake. In its 17th year, the White Rock Lake Art Studio Tour of 2009 will include 47 professional artists and 5 art centers.
This popular event offers the public the opportunity to visit artists within their special working environments, to see local art exhibitions and to tour art schools. On the Tour this year are painters, sculptors, mixed media artists, potters, photographers, glass and mosaic artists, jewelers, fiber artists and printmakers.
Join us in the adventure to discover studios as diverse as the art produced. See art and ideas in progress and works that are completed. The White Rock Lake Art Studio Tour has become a Dallas art legend, referred to as "the best," *the largest," "the first within local neighborhoods." Find out for yourself! This free, self-guided Tour is open to anyone with an interest in art.

This is the one event that has some merit, after having been to several events over the past couple of years and realized by Dallas Arts Review editing Manager and long time contributor for the Dallas Arts and Cultural scene since 1979...J.R.Compton, Who has done a great job over the years in getting these events out to the public and organizing art events for a number of years...
While the White Rock Event is really funky neat and so I do recommend the getting to these locations....while this is also the last week for the Fair...A/T...Friday..October 2009..
