Degas, Dance Dallas

The exhibition All the World's a Stage features three fascinating works by Edgar Degas from the DMA's collections—all made in pastel and all depicting ballet dancers in performance. Dr. Richard Kendall, independent art historian and renowned curator, will discuss the work of Edgar Degas and will investigate the creativity and artistic innovation he employed in the creation of over a thousand images of ballet dancers. After the lecture, join Contemporary Ballet Dallas in The Stage for a special performance inspired by the work of Degas.

$15 for the public, discounts available for DMA members, students, and seniors. To purchase tickets, call 214-922-1826 or e-mail PublicPrograms@DallasMuseumofArt.org
