The 6th annual Walk Wag and Run, hosted by Lakewood Service League, will be held at Winfrey Point at White Rock Lake on Saturday, October 24th. The timed 5K and 10K races will begin at 8am, the dog agility walk will begin at 9am, and there will be a kids’ 1k race at 10am. There will also be a kids fair, costume contests, entertainment, food, and fun. This year’s event benefits the YMCA at White Rock and For the Love of the Lake. Pet Adoptions will be provided by the SPCA of Texas and many more agencies.
